KYIV, June 27 – Demining and restoration of 1 hectare of agricultural land costs Ukrainian farmers about $2,000, while the cost of such land does not exceed $1,000 per hectare, Alex Lissitsa, General Director of the IMK agricultural holding, said during a discussion on demining on the sidelines of the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2023) in London.

"There are 32 million hectares of agricultural land in Ukraine. Of these, according to the Ukrainian government, 2 million hectares are mined and 470,000 hectares are identified as priority for mine clearance," he said.
