BRUSSELS, June 19 – The European Union continues to discuss how Russian assets blocked in the EU can be used to restore Ukraine, European Commission's spokesman Christian Wiegand has said.

At a press conference in Brussels on Monday, Wiegand said there are two different elements: private assets – the assets of individuals and companies that can be frozen. According to him the equivalent of EUR 24.1 billion assets are frozen for now.
