KYIV, June 9 – Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) has alternative sources of filling the on-site cooling pond in addition to the Kakhovka reservoir, Head of Energoatom Petro Kotin has said on Radio Liberty on Friday.

"In addition to the Kakhovka reservoir, there are several more sources of filling the cooling pond. These are mobile pumping units that can be deployed if necessary, and the last frontier is the use of underground drinking water wells," he said.
