KYIV, June 7 – Ukraine is working to create an effective organizational structure for demining, planning to create a donor coordination platform, the Economy Ministry said on Wednesday following a meeting between First Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and representatives of Japan and the UN.

"Today we are completing the process of electing members of the supervisory board of the Humanitarian Demining Center, which will deal with operational tasks. And we are discussing the creation of a donor coordination platform for demining, which will coordinate and communicate, in particular with donors, at the political level," the press service quotes Svyrydenko.
