KYIV, June 6 – Ukrnafta sets a strategic goal until 2027 to ensure Ukraine's energy independence in the supply of petroleum products by doubling the volume of oil and gas production, the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy and Housing and Public Utilities reported on Tuesday, citing company CEO Serhiy Koretsky.

"Our company's plan is quite ambitious, but there is reason to announce it. Ukrnafta has every opportunity to be on the list of Ukrainian companies stabilizing the work of Ukraine's financial and economic system," he said during an off-site meeting of the Energy Committee of the Rada, dedicated to the prospects of the Ukrainian oil refining industry, in the west of Ukraine on June 1.
