Prosecutors investigate owners of bomb shelters in improper condition

KYIV, June 5 – The owners of bomb shelters in Kyiv were satisfied with the improper condition of the facilities before the appeal of the prosecutor's office, the results of the investigation into the misappropriation of funds allocated for the repair of such facilities will be made public this week, Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office has said.

"In connection with the tragic events on June 1, the police, together with the prosecutor's office, conducted another 24 inspections of shelters in Kyiv. Half of them were closed at the time of the inspection, most of the rest were in poor condition," Spokesperson for Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office Nadia Maksymets said on the air of the national telethon on Monday.
