LUGANO, June 5 – The VitAgro group of companies, a large Ukrainian agro-industrial group, has chosen the production of biomethane and bioethanol, as well as the deep processing of corn and soybeans, as new strategic initiatives, said Serhiy Savchuk, the investment and business development director.

"In connection with the situation with natural gas in the European Union and in the energy sector in general, we decided to enter the production of biomethane, the production of bioethanol and the deep processing of corn and soybeans ... The export potential is huge," he said at a recent Ukrainian-Swiss business forum in Lugano.
