KYIV, June 2 – The amount of financing allocated to Ukraine by international partners in January-May to cover the budget deficit amounted to $19.79 billion compared to $32.14 billion last year, the Ministry of Finance has reported.
According to the data published by the ministry on its website, the share of grants was 31.1%, totaling $6.16 billion, including $6 billion from the United States, $52 million from Germany, $50 million from Spain, and $21 million each from Finland and Ireland.t
The biggest creditor of Ukraine this year is the EU with $8.12 billion, which has already exceeded the figure for the whole of last year, which was $7.96 billion.
