KYIV, May 29 – On Friday, May 26, within the framework of the Ukrainian Investment Forum in Copenhagen, the launch of a social program of the Danish Investment Fund for Ukraine for a total amount of DKK 1 billion, which is about $133 million, was announced, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reported.
"Denmark is one of the leaders in financial assistance to Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, general military support has reached $1.4 billion, and general humanitarian assistance, including macro-financial assistance, is $212 million. The Government of Ukraine highly appreciates Denmark's support and looks forward to deepening bilateral cooperation and further involvement of Danish businesses in projects for Ukraine's recovery. Thus, a special investment fund created for Ukraine will finance projects involving the best Danish technologies and innovative solutions and will be available to both the public and private sectors," First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko said.
