KYIV, May 22 – Ukraine's ecomomy will expand 3.2% on the year in 2023, up from 1% previously expected, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko said Monday. The NBU has recently also upgraded ecomomic growth forecast to 2% in 2023, up from 0.3% seen earlier.

"Today, we are in a much better economic situation compared to a year ago... We refrain from monetary financing in 2023, and the GDP growth forecast has been raised to 3.2%," the minister of finance wrote in the column of the Economic Pravda publication.
