KYIV, May 19 – The operation of one of Ukraine's thermal power plants (TPP) has been suspended as a result of damage to the main power lines that ensured power output, according to DTEK.
"On May 19, in the afternoon, the main lines that ensured the output of power from one of the TPPs of DTEK Energo were damaged as a result of shelling by Russian forces. As a result, the power plant stopped generating electricity," the energy holding said on the Telegram channel on Friday.
