KYIV, May 15 – Export of wheat from Ukraine in the MY 2023/24 season will be 10 million tons compared to 15 million tons in the current MY 2022/23 season, while corn – 16.5 million tons compared to 25.5 million tons, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) predicts.
According to the report, the reason for this is a smaller harvest and a reduction in export stocks.
In addition, USDA expects a decrease in barley exports from Ukraine by 0.1 million tons in the upcoming season to 2.3 million tons.
