KYIV, May 10 – Swiss Nestle, the largest manufacturer of food and non-alcoholic beverages in the world, has started the announced construction of an enterprise for the production of pasta and other food products in the village of Smolyhiv, Torchyn community, Volyn region, the investment in which was previously estimated at CHF 40 million (almost $45 million), according to business.rayon publication.
Nestlé CEO in Ukraine and South-East Europe Alessandro Zanelli at a ceremony marking the start of construction on Wednesday expressed confidence that Torchyn plant will become a European regional hub for the culinary category.
