KYIV, May 8 – The unemployment rate in Ukraine on average for 2023 will decrease from 21.1% in 2022, such an updated forecast was published by the National Bank in its Inflation Report, explaining it by an improvement in the review of the methodology and positive trends in the labor market.

In the January report, the central bank estimated unemployment in 2022 at 25.8% and anticipated it would rise slightly to 26.1% this year.
