KYIV, April 28 – Ukraine calls on the European Union to let Ukrainian farmers continue grain exports that will reduce the need for financial aid, Minister of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine Mykola Solsky said.
"We have always traded with Europe, and these were significantly large numbers… This year, the increase in the supply of grain to Europe was due, among other things, to a drought, which may happen again. This led to an additional need for European business in Ukrainian grain. In other words, Europe needs Ukrainian grain, especially corn, sunflower and soybean meal, soybeans and other products," he said.
