VIENNA, Dec. 6 - Erste Bank AG, Austria's second biggest bank in terms of total assets, plans to open 400 branches in Ukraine, Bloomberg News has reported.

The bank plans to invest EUR 235 million within three years in the building of the bank's network in Ukraine jointly with Ukrainian bank Prestige, in which Erste Bank owns a controlling stake.
