KYIV, April 13 – President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has asked the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) to approve the Support Program to cover priority projects for rapid recovery.

He also called for the development of specific mechanisms for the use of frozen Russian assets to compensate for the damage caused by Russia.

Zelenskyy made the announcement on Wednesday while speaking via video link at the third ministerial roundtable discussion for support to Ukraine organized by the IMF and WBG.
