KYIV, April 10 – Ukraine hopes to compensate for the suspension of grain exports to Poland by increasing transit according to new rules that will be agreed within the next week and approved on Friday at a regular meeting on the Ukrainian-Polish border, Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Mykola Solsky said.
"The export of Ukrainian grain through the territory of Poland should not suffer. On the contrary, it will receive better dynamics. The queues should decrease. Among the decisions that are currently being discussed, first of all, are the issues of improving transit procedures, the absence of delays in vehicles and rail transport that go to Polish ports or other countries, including the EU," he said on the air of the United News telethon.
