KYIV, April 6 – Some 79% of all polled Ukrainians are ready to support Ukraine's accession to the European Union, if the referendum were held in the near future, or 92% of those who are going to take part in it, according to the results of an opinion poll conducted by the sociological service of the Razumkov Centre.
At the same time, 7% and 4% of respondents, respectively, would vote against this decision.
"Some 86% of all residents of the western region, 82% of the central region, 73% of the inhabitants of the east and 56% of the southerners would vote for joining the EU. The share of those who would vote against is respectively 3%, 5%, 11% and 17%," the center said in the poll materials.
