KYIV, April 3 – Improvement in the external environment, logistics, the energy sector, and an increase in consumer sentiment had a positive impact on business activity expectations last month: the index of business activity expectations calculated by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) in March 2023 increased to 49.5 from 45.0 in February and almost reached the equilibrium level.
"This is a high not seen since December 2021. Trading companies reported the most optimistic expectations of their business performance and future economic outlook," the National Bank said in a press release on the website on Monday.
