KYIV, March 14 – The European Union (EU) is extending for another year trade protection measures for Ukrainian exports to the EU, known as autonomous trade measures.
"As a sign of solidarity with Ukraine, we have proposed renewing the suspension of import duties, quotas and trade defense measures on Ukrainian exports to the EU for another year. And we are working on deepening Ukraine's integration into the EU single market," European Commission Executive Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis said on Tuesday at a meeting of the EU Economic and Financial Affairs Council (ECOFIN).
