KYIV, March 9 – Forty-nine states have appealed to the IAEA Board of Governors with a statement about the need for Russia to withdraw from the Zaporizhia NPP, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
"The risks at the Zaporizhia NPP will remain high as long as the Russian military and Rosatom personnel are at the plant. Russia must leave the Zaporizhia NPP. Forty-nine states and Euroatom [European Atomic Energy Community] have come to the IAEA Board of Governors today with such a statement. Night attacks by Russia on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, as a result of which the ZNPP was cut from power supply for the sixth time during the full-scale war, is another confirmation of this," Shmyhal wrote on his Telegram channel.
