KYIV, Feb 24 – Naftogaz Ukrayiny plans to abandon the business of using compressed natural gas (CNG) as a motor fuel, former head of the GTS Operator of Ukraine Serhiy Makogon has said.

"Naftogaz has closed all its CNG filling stations (automobile gas-filling compressor stations) and plans to liquidate them. This will put an end to the history of the use of gas in vehicles. No one will buy or convert vehicles to CNG if there is nowhere to refuel," he wrote on his Facebook page.
