KYIV, Feb 9 – The growth of consumer prices in Ukraine in January 2022 accelerated to 0.8% from 0.7% in December and November, which, however, is significantly lower than 2.5% in October and 1.9% in September, the State Statistics Service on Thursday.

According to it, in January last year, inflation was 1.3%, so in annual terms, in January 2023, it decreased to 26% from 26.6%.

Core inflation fell to 0.7% last month from 0.8% in December, 1.3% in November, 1.9% in October and 2.4% in September, the State Statistics Service said.
