BRUSSELS, Feb 8 – The Prime Ministers of Estonia, Latvia, Poland and the President of Lithuania, Kaja Kallas, Krisjanis Karins, Mateusz Morawiecki and Gitanas Nauseda, have written a letter to the leadership of the European Union urging them to urgently develop a legislative framework that will allow without delay, without waiting for the end of the war that Russia is waging against Ukraine, to begin using Russian assets frozen in the EU in Ukrainian interests.
The Interfax-Ukraine agency got acquainted with the contents of the letter addressed to Presidents of the European Council Charles Michel, the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and Prime Minister of the Swedish Presidency of the EU Ulf Kristersson.
