KYIV, Feb 8 – Due to the seasonal growth in demand, the Ostchem nitrogen holding has planned to increase the capacity utilization for production of mineral fertilizers by Cherkasy Azot from 30% to 70%, and Rivneazot up to 50%.

"We are increasing capacity to cover the increased demand from farmers who, against all odds, are determined to successfully carry out the spring sowing. In the spring, more than 70% of all fertilizers are applied, and February and March are the peak of demand. All the necessary workshops are working," Serhiy Pavliuchuk, head of the Ostchem nitrogen business, is quoted in the message.
