KIEV, Nov. 30 ??“ President Viktor Yushchenko on Wednesday awarded UEFA President Lennart Johansson the Yaroslav the Wise Order for his contribution to support Ukrainian and international soccer, the presidential press service reported.

Yushchenko hopes the UEFA Executive Committee will support a joint bid by Ukraine and Poland to host the Euro-2012 European soccer championship, the press service said.
