ArcelorMittal says remains committed to Ukraine despite Russian invasion
Journal Staff Report

LUXEMBOURG, Feb 6 – ArcelorMittal remains committed to Ukraine and believes in its future, despite the great difficulties in the work of its ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) mining and smelting plant caused by full-scale armed aggression of Russia, the Executive Vice President of ArcelorMittal, ArcelorMittal CIS CEO Vijay Goyal has said.

"We lose more than $1 million daily. 10% of our personnel in the war, 67 people were killed defending the country... But I not only hope, but also believe that we will be winners. We want, we are able and ready to rebuild," he said at the business forum on the rapid restoration of Ukraine in Luxembourg organized by the Ukraine-Luxembourg Business Club.
