KYIV, Feb 1 - The Business Activity Expectations Index calculated by the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) fell to 37.5 in January from 42.1 in December and remained below the neutral level, according to a survey of enterprises released by the NBU.
"In January, the index fell to 37.5 compared to 42.1 in December. The economic activity of enterprises and their expectations are significantly affected by the shortage of electricity, disruption of logistics, low solvency of the population, etc.," the central bank comments on the results of its survey.
