KYIV, Jan 27 – Ukraine needs to restore almost 75% of its thermal generation, damaged as a result of massive strikes by Russian invaders, Dmytro Sakharuk, Executive Director of DTEK, has said.

"We need to restore approximately 7.5 GW of thermal generation, which is almost 75% of its total capacity. These are large volumes that need to be returned to the grid as soon as possible," he said on the air of the United News national telethon on Thursday evening.
