KYIV, Jan 27 – The shortage of electricity in Ukraine during peak hours of consumption in the morning and evening is up to 5 GW, and at night it can be up to 3 GW, Dmytro Sakharuk, Executive Director of DTEK, has said.
On the air of the national telethon United News on Friday, he noted that the resumption of generation and grids, the import of electricity, as well as the liberation from Russian invaders of Ukraine's generating enterprises, which capacity in the occupation is approximately 10 GW, are the ways to reduce this deficit.
