KYIV, Jan 27 – Prices for Ukrainian corn delivered to the ports of Greater Odesa reached a seasonal high for some time, as its limited supply on the market, together with the delay in sales by producers, raised prices to $210-216/ton on DAP terms (the seller bears the risks for the cargo until it is delivered to its destination), while a week earlier this figure was $205-212/ton.
As the brokerage company Spike Brokers (Kyiv) reported on its Telegram channel on Thursday, in general, the agricultural market for the week showed an increase in the supply of leftovers from the 2021 crop and the new 2022 crop, with some reduction in the cost of rail and road logistics.
