DAVOS, Jan 23 – The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has increased its investments in projects in Ukraine to EUR 1.7 billion in 2022, compared to about EUR 1 billion it invested annually earlier, Bank President Odile Renaud-Basso has said.
The bank does not interfere in military affairs, this is not its job, but the EBRD can help in the economic battle. And that is why, from the very beginning of the war, the EBRD was extremely interested in finding ways to continue supporting, financing projects in Ukraine, she said in Davos on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum at the Ukraine House Davos organized by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, Western NIS Enterprise Fund and Horizon Capital.
