KIEV, Nov. 28 - President Viktor Yushchenko on Tuesday vetoed a law that has been increasing 63.4% royalties on extraction natural gas, the presidential press service reported Wednesday.

The development alleviates fears among domestic natural gas producers, such as UkrGazVydobuvannia and ChornomorNaftoGaz, which have criticized the plans to increase the royalties.
