KYIV, Jan 17 – The main obstacle to doing business in December was interruptions in electricity, water and heat supply, this was noted by 80% of enterprises, but since November this figure has grown by only 2%, these are the results of the seventh monthly survey of enterprises "Ukrainian business in wartime" of the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Consulting (IER).
According to the results published on Monday, in December 86% of those surveyed temporarily stopped work for these reasons.
To cope with power outages, the majority of businesses (74%) installed independent power sources, 57% changed work schedules, 24% changed production processes, and 7% reequipped workplaces.
