KYIV, Jan 5 – Onur, one of the largest companies in the construction and repair of roads in Ukraine, in 2022, due to the war, reduced the amount of work by 90% and froze the implementation of almost all large-scale road infrastructure projects, General Coordinator of Onur Group Ukraine Emre Karaahmetoglu said in an interview with NV publication.
"Despite the war, some projects were still completed: roads in Khmelnytsky region and sections of the Kyiv-Kharkiv highway, which had been built since 2019, were completed. Both projects were funded by the World Bank," Karaahmetoglu said.
