KYIV, Jan 5 – The Ukrainian economy contracted 30.4% on the year in 2022, which is better than had been originally expected, the Economy Ministry said on Thursday.

In December, the contraction in GDP was estimated at 34% [±2%] compared with 37% [±2%] in November, given a certain stabilization of the energy supply situation after shelling in November, the ministry said in a statement.
