KYIV, Dec 27 – Rinat Akhmetov with fortune of $4.4 billion topped the rating of the richest businessmen in Ukraine, according to the Forbes Ukraine website.

Akhmetov's fortune in 2022 dropped from $13.7 billion to $4.4 billion. His largest assets are the Metinvest company and the DTEK group. The agricultural, energy and metallurgical business of Akhmetov suffered from the war, in particular, the Azovstal and Illich Iron and Steel Works in Mariupol were destroyed.
