KYIV, Dec 22 – Energoatom President Petro Kotin and Cameco President and CEO Tim Gitzel discussed the possibility of purchasing uranium hexafluoride from the Canadian company for the production of nuclear fuel for Ukrainian nuclear power plants during an online meeting on Wednesday.

"They [Kotin and Gitzel] discussed the possibility of supplying uranium hexafluoride, which will ensure the production of nuclear fuel for Ukrainian nuclear power plants. Also at the meeting, they discussed the importance of long-term cooperation – until 2035 – between Energoatom and Cameco," Energoatom said in its Telegram channel.
