KYIV, Dec 15 – Ukraine expects that the UN will maintain the volume of its assistance at about $4.5 billion in 2023, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
"This year, the UN has allocated more than $4.5 billion to provide humanitarian assistance to the population of Ukraine, who suffered as a result of the Russian aggression, and to Ukrainians who have left for other countries. We appreciate such support and hope that in 2023 the UN, at least will maintain the volume of aid," Shmyhal said at a joint press conference with UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths in Kyiv on Thursday.
