KYIV, Dec 15 – National Bank of Ukraine Governor Andriy Pyshnyy assured senior officials at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) that Ukraine is ready to meet all the commitments assumed under the Program Monitoring with Board Involvement (PMB).
Pyshnyy is in Washington ahead of the IMF Board decision to approve the PMB on December 19.
Pyshnyy and his deputy Serhiy Nikolaychuk met with Deputy Director of IMF's Strategy, Policy and Review Department Uma Ramakrishnan and IMF Mission Chief for Ukraine Gavin Gray, as well as IMF Executive Director Paul Hilbers and a group of eight other European Executive Directors, the NBU reported.
