KYIV, Dec 5 – Ukrenergo announced the introduction of emergency power outages due to a temporary reduction in generation capacity due to the eighth massive missile attack by Russian aggressors.
"Due to the consequences of the shelling, part of the power plants will not be able to operate at full capacity for a certain time. In combination with increased frost in the coming days, this will lead to an increase in the electricity deficit in the system. In order to maintain a balance between production and consumption of the resource, all regions of Ukraine will introduce emergency outage mode," the company said on Facebook on Monday evening.
