BERLIN, Oct 25 – Following the visit of its President Odile Renaud-Basso to Ukraine, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is considering issuing an additional EUR 300 million loan for NPC Ukrenergo for purchasing equipment and to support current liquidity, Alternate Board Director at the EBRD from Ukraine Artem Shevalev has said.

"One of the things that came out of this visit is the decision to provide Ukrenergo with a EUR 300 million emergency loan over the next month," Shevalev told Interfax-Ukraine on the sidelines of the International Expert Conference on the Recovery, Reconstruction and Modernization of Ukraine in Berlin on Tuesday.
