KYIV, Oct 24 – Ukraine, due to the Russian military invasion, has become one of the world leaders in the contamination of the territory with explosive objects: since 2014, some 150,000-180,000 square kilometers have been affected, which is 25-30% of the entire territory of the country.

As reported on the website of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, the complete demining and cleansing of Ukrainian territory will take 10 million man-days, or about ten years. The total cost of the work, according to preliminary estimates, will be about EUR 2 billion.
