KYIV, Oct 21 – The next round of negotiations with experts from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on the preparation of the Program Monitoring with Board Involvement (PMB) is expected in November, and its approval is expected in December, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) said following the results of the IMF mission on October 17 through October 20 in Vienna.
"We are committed to hold expedited negotiations so that the approval of the Monitoring Program, with the participation of the IMF Executive Board, can come as soon as December. This will enable us to lay a solid foundation for our macroeconomic policy and to make significant steps, at the beginning of next year, toward a new large-scale Program with the IMF," Governor of the National Bank Andriy Pyshnyy said.
