KYIV, Oct 20 – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has kept its inflation forecast for 2022 to 30% and expects it to decline to 20.8% in 2023 (against 20.7% in the previous forecast) and to 10% in 2024 (earlier to 9.4%), the press service of the regulator said on Thursday.
"Due to the adverse impact of the full-scale war on supply of goods and economic agents’ expectations, inflation will accelerate to 30% at the end of this year... The relevant factors will drive inflation down to 20.8% next year and to below 10% in 2024," the NBU said.
