KYIV, Oct 6 – The area sown with winter crops in Ukraine currently stands at 1.2 million hectares and is unlikely to reach 2 million hectares in the remaining approximately two weeks of the autumn sowing season, while last year it amounted to 7 million hectares, IMC agroholding CEO Alex Lissitsa said.
"It is unlikely that we will reach 2 million hectares. The gross harvest of early grains will be 50-70% less. In fact, we will cover our own needs, but not everything will be so good with exports," he said at the Forbes conference "Without Rose-Colored Glasses. Business and the State During War" on Thursday.
