KYIV, Oct 4 – Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Kyrylo Shevchenko submitted his resignation to the President of Ukraine on Tuesday, citing “health-related issues,” the NBU said in a statement.

"Due to the health-related issues that cannot be ignored any longer, I made a difficult decision. I am resigning from my position as the NBU Governor," Shevchenko is quoted as saying.
