KIEV, Nov. 17 ??“ A top government official admitted Friday that Ukraine will have much higher inflation this year than had been earlier thought, but added consumer prices would probably be in check next year.
Mykola Azarov, the first deputy prime minister who also holds the post of finance minister, suggested inflation may skyrocket to 12.2% in 2006, up from 8.7% that had been originally forecast.
