KYIV, Sept 26 – No increase in motor fuel prices after the return of excises is expected due to the fall in oil prices on world markets, Denys Kudin, First Deputy Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, assured.

"In our opinion, the time for a partial return of excises was chosen well, since the Ukrainian fuel market was impacted by a downward trend in prices. Accordingly, we expect that fuel networks will be able to include the tax in the existing price without increasing it. We do not expect an increase in prices for petroleum products in the near future," the ministry's press service quoted him as saying.
